Bash for the Breakroom

  • Modist Brewing 505 N 3rd Street Minneapolis, Minnesota (map)

- Do you like beer and pizza?
- Would you like to see a dedicated skatepark in downtown Minneapolis?
- Do you like banging on a drum set?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, come to our Bash for the Breakroom event happening September 18th, a fundraising event for supporting the Downtown Breakroom Pocket Park.

Midwest Skateboarding Alliance (MSA) has teamed up with local Minneapolis businesses, Pizza Luce, Modist Brewing, and Twin Cities Drum Collective (TCDC), to raise awareness and funding for the Downtown Breakroom Pocket Park.

Courtesy of TCDC, there will be an afternoon of drum karaoke! With a small donation, you can jam out and play your favorite drum songs on stage.

Not a drummer? Bring some friends to watch skate demos, taste an exclusive Modist x Wallride beer, have a slice of Pizza Luce, or browse the silent auction with goods from local businesses and artists.

MSA has been working with the Minneapolis Parks & Recreation Board, MN Department of Transportation, and the Downtown Improvement District to build a multi-use skatepark on the empty lot at 2nd Ave North & North 4th Street in downtown Minneapolis. We need your help to bring awareness and raise funds to transform this neglected, unwelcoming space into a vibrant community asset.
